An emergency gate is located on the south side of Trace at the end of Traceway in Woodfield North by Hidden Lake leading to Cox Mill Road. To get there from Trace Gate House proceed to the light at the entrance to Trace on Highway 87, turn left (south) on Highway 87, continue a short distance to Pickett Road where you turn left (toward Gross Farms). Note that Pickett Road dead ends into Cox Mill Road where you will turn left. Follow Cox Mill Road about one mile to the gate on the left which sits back off the road.
An emergency gate is located on the north side of Trace at the end of Traceway by Mallard Cove and Highland Woods. To get there from Trace Gate House, proceed to the light at the entrance to Trace on Highway 87, turn left (south) on Highway 87. Continue a short distance to Pickett Road where you turn left (toward Gross Farms). Note that Pickett Road dead ends into Cox Mill Road where you will turn left. Follow Cox Mill Road about two miles to the gate on the left which sits back off the road.
An emergency gate is located on Indian Trail in North Shore by the water tower and just north of the Fire Station on Highway 87. To get there from the Trace Gate House proceed to the light at the entrance to Trace on Highway 87. Turn right (north) and follow Highway 87 north about 1.4 miles to just north of the Fire Station b the Carolina Trace Water Tower.
An emergency gate is off Argyll Drive in Sedgemoor at the Redbud / Highway 87 area. This gate is across from the BP Gas Station. To get there from the Trace Gate House, proceed to the light at the entrance to Trace on Highway 87. Turn right (north) and follow Highway 87 north about 1.9 miles and the emergency gate is on your right and across from the BP Gas Station.
All of the emergency gates are locked except in case of emergency at the discretion of the CTA President or his/her designee.
